White Star Line, RMS "Olympic" iconic Grand Staircase teak window & surround, c-1911.
(Main picture shows three windows, only one window is for sale in this listing, please check my other listings)
Window in teak, from within the ships famous and iconic Grand Staircase complex. The oak painted internal surround, from one of the ships special state rooms on the Prom deck, c-1911.
This example was from the end factory wall, as featured within the blog, the base having sat in standing water and exposed to the elements for 80+ years, as a result the lower section was rotten and had to be replaced, the new added material is repurposed teak secured from elsewhere in the factory site but is a new addition to the window, the replaced section can clearly be made out in the photos. This window was the example that had three of the top fan windows broken by vandals whilst in situ at the factory, those three window panes have been replaced.
Frame marked with ships details.
Window measuring:- 32" x just over 66"
Surround measuring:- 35" x 74".
Please note shipping is expensive but at cost, organised by my shippers, Pack & Send Reading, unless you want to make your own arrangements, of which I will be more than happy to assist.

This window was one of five I was luck enough to salvage from the site, three windows have now sold, this and the example with the obscured glass are the only two I now have for sale.
